Hi there! I’m Leah Cabotaje, the owner and operator of Companion Pet Care.

My journey into professional pet care began in July 2025. I transitioned from caring for humans as a Registered Nurse, into a career of caring for furry companions. After gaining valuable experience with a local pet care company, I decided to take the leap and establish my own brand.

Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my home was always filled with pets—from guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish to cats and dogs. Over the years, friends naturally trusted me to look after their pets, giving them peace of mind and inspiring me to turn this lifelong passion into a business.

Because your pet's safety and emotional well-being are my top priorities, I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, and I am currently working toward my Fear Free certification for greater peace of mind.

When I’m not caring for your pets, I am managed by my own two dogs, Milo and Nora, and my three teenage sons. In my free time, I love reading, kayaking, hiking, and enjoying game and movie nights with my family.
